In which I finally join the new year.

You guys!  Happy 2012!  I am doing amazingly on my New Years Resolutions, and I've already lost 15 lbs!  Although I suppose this particular 6 lbs and 9 oz doesn't really count towards the new year, having been born on Dec 31st.

Ladies and gents, Eleanor Constance Loretta, named for both her grandmas and then for, I don't know, Eleanor Roosevelt, or the smart one from Sense and Sensibility (variant spelling).

Likes include being held by literally anyone, putting up her dukes, and looking snooty about things.

indeed

Dislikes include sitting in her poops for half an hour because her parents are like, Well of the three things that could possibly be wrong with a baby, she's not hungry or sleepy so...*stumped*

For real, though, she's pretty rad.

  10. So lovely! And I heartily approve of her first name, since I have a little Eleanor as well! We tell people she's named after both Eleanor Roosevelt and Eleanor of Aquitaine, since both of those ladies were pretty badass and worth naming your daughter after. I am confident that your Eleanor will also be pretty badass. Congratulations!

And congratulations on still being incredibly funny right after giving birth. (Personally, my brain left for a while after my babies. I'd joke that they reached up and grabbed a little of my brain on their way out of my uterus.)
