You know how sometimes there's this party and you know that people you love will be there but you DON'T WANT TO GO and so you sulk around in your sweats for a few hours watching re-runs of What Not to Wear and getting periodic texts all 'Wer r u?' and finally you throw on something without mustard stains and plod all the way to the party and when you get there, EVERYONE is there and they're all 'You're here!!!' and maybe one of them brought you that book they've been meaning to lend you and maybe one of them saved you some of the good appys from earlier and everyone is just so damned welcoming and friendly that you almost don't know what to do with yourself?
I am enjoying this twitter business.

I love that analogy! I do that all the time: "But I don't WANNA go!!!" and then it ends up being the best darn thing you did all year. :-) It took me a while to actually sign up, too, but I'm so happy that I did!
